We have arrived safely in Haras du Pin and the horses are well.
The Nations Cup starts today! Wii Limbo and I are first team combination. Frustrating Team GB have been drawn first to go, so I will be first on at 5.30pm today! Wish us luck!!
I couldn’t be more proud of my superstar WII LIMBO
First to go in the CICO*** Nations Cup Team and he tried his best. I’m pleased with a score of 46, especially being only his 3rd event back after nearly a 2 year break! What an amazing horse he is!!!
He was absolutely beautifully turned out by my supergroom Hannah Rodemark who has been busy all day along with Sue who has come to help. Now roll on the XC!!!
CAPTAIN FUTURE produced some lovely work in the CCI**. One costly error breaking in the medium trot, left him on a score of 51.6
The rollercoaster ride that is horses!
CAPTAIN FUTURE my superstar stormed round the CCI** just 5 seconds over the time, and CALVIN in the CCI* produced a smart an accurate test to score 42 to lie in 2nd place.
However WII LIMBO and I didn’t quite go to plan in the CICO***, he felt incredible but over jumped into the last water and I didn’t close the canter enough and we got to close and fell at the skinny! Very frustrating but he felt incredible and onwards and upwards now! The rest of Team GB were amazing and the Team lie in Silver so roll on the SJ.
Another whirlwind day today at Haras Du Pin
Sadly CAPTAIN FUTURE didn’t feel quite right so we decided to save him for another day.
But it was fantastic to be part of Team GB winning Silver in the Nations Cup Team!!! A huge thank you to Philip Surl for keeping us all in the loop and to Laura, Holly and Imogen for being amazing team mates all week!!!
